Q: BMW Z4 Coolant/Antifreeze?
The add coolant light on my 2005 BMW Z4 is on and i was wondering if I can add my own antifreeze/coolant or do i need to use the special BMW brand. I live in dallas so it's not going to get too cold.
A: You are going to get different answers from different people. Some will tell you that it doesn't matter, some will tell you that it does matter. I will say that you should go with the BMW coolant. I'm not sure if you can mix fluids...but hopefully the BMW coolant is in there now. You can get the coolant much cheaper at bavauto.com than other places.
Q: Which car would be best for me?
Ok so I need a car with good hp, and good gas mileage, with good reliability. I'm probably only driving 1 other person here and there, so I don't need a big huge SUV. This will be when I turn 17, when I am more experienced. My parents will help with the insurance, and gas. I'm paying half the maintenance, or whole thing if cheap enough, and the car. I have a job, I have good grades in school, and I am a very safe driver, plus I don't think i'm invincible like other drivers.
My choices:
2006 BMW 330i with Sport Package 225 HP Inline 6
2003-2005 BMW Z4 3.0 225 HP Inline 6
2007 BMW 328 awd coupe, or just the regular 328i coupe 230 hp Inline 6
2004- BMW 325CI coupe/ convertible 184 Hp Inline 6
I've always wanted a BMW, and I want to work for them in the future. So I just want to have something that was built by my favorite car company.

what about the 2004- 06 BMW 5 series?
BMW 330i with SP is about 20k
The Z4 is about 16-21k for the 3.0
the 328 coupe is about 23k
the 5 series is around 18- 20k
the 325ci is around 14-17k
im hoping depreciation will come into effect until December
any other suggestions? in the BMW line? not too expensive, im not going over the budget of 22-23k. Please do tell what you know of these cars
A: if u want a beamer, the best bet is the 1 series. ITs the cheapeast out of all, but hey its quick, reliable, drives good, and sports a big BMW sign on the rear end. Hey the 1 series is good. You can a new 1 series for the same price around a used 5 or 7 series.
The Z series is cramped
the 5 series is ugly and expensive
the 3 series is the 2nd best but its costly.
Q: G35 vs 350z vs Z4. Which car is better?
Hello. I'm thinking about buying a car, and I can't make a decision between G35, 350z, and Z4.
BTW, I'm 21years old guy, and I will get 2005 or 2006 models of those cars. (used one)
First, Infinity G35 coupe. It's nice car. I really love it, and it has nice looking :)
Bigger than the other ones, so it will be little be safer if I get a car accident.
2 additional seats, which is awesome :)
Comfortable driving.
Nissan 350z Touring or Grand Touring. (Converterble)
It's a nice car also; converterble!!!!!!!!
But no additional seats, small... uncomfortable for long-drive.
BMW Z4 2.5i (not 3.0)

I usually drive a lot... and I think I will drive with this car to the school, which is an hour from my home.
I think overall G35 is the best... but I still love 350z and Z4.
Also, I heard it's really expensive to maintain G35.
So, can you guys make a decision for me?
I want to know more about maintenance costs for those cars and miledge per gallon.

Q: Which car shall I pick for my first car?
Ok, so I'm planning on purchasing my first car when I turn 17 or around 17 1/4, lol. My choices
2004 BMW 325CI about 15-16k
2005 Infiniti G35 Coupe about 15- 16k
2005-06 Saab 9-3- 16k
I totally want the Z4, but its impractical which sucks.
Note I have a job, and parents are paying insurance, gas, tires. I will pay for some of the gas I guess, the car, and maintenance. Parents will step in and help if I need it.
