Q: 2006 BMW M5 cd changer question (mp3)?
I just got a used 2006 BMW M5. I put in a mp3 cd into a cdchanger and I noticed that it would not recognize it. But when I put it to cddrive on the dashboard, it plays just fine. Is that cdchanger not supposed to play mp3s?

A: In my 2007 M5 it's the same thing so I guess yea

Q: BMW M5.... Your thoughts?
Hey all, i have enought money to purchase an 2006 m5 with low millage on the vehicle. I was wondering whether or not this was a smart choice? I am in my low 20's

A: Its a really good car, but can you afford to keep it? You should know M5 need proper maintaining, and insurance. One repair would would cost you a lot. So better get those warranties. You should just find different cars, because M5 is usually for rich peoples.

Q: Should I buy the BMW 550I or M5?
I'm buying my first car next month & my mom as a co-signer & I was just going to buy a 2006 550I for $26,000 for $423/60months but found a 2006 M5 for $40,000 & the dealer is going to let us have it for 696/60months. Now the M5 is $273 more a month but I don't pay any bills right now(cause I live with mom)& in about 4-5months I'll be getting a place with my cousin & I've done the math for the car payment, my half of the rent other bills & I make enough a month to pay everything & still have money left over to do with as I wish. My mom is like $273 is a lot of money that I can use to do better things with or just save at use for when I find a get I want to marry & have kids plus the their the same car M5 just has more HP. So what do you guys think I should do, get the car I'll have fun with as a first car or be smart & get the cheaper car & save?

A: M5s are sooo much car.... My dad has an 02 M5 and its fast it makes my E46 M3 look slow. The new car has 507 soo i can only imagine. 550i is a really good car also, i havent heard very good things about the engine but it could be just rumors. Im sure the 550i would suffice but if you can swing it get the M5. but this is coming from a 20 year old college student. just my thoughts

Q: Which car would you choose?
1. 2006 BMW M6 30K miles 2. 2006 BMW M5 24K Miles Both same price. Which would you choose and why? Also is 30K miles alot for these cars?

A: 30k miles is not a lot for either car. If they were the exact same price I would get the M6 because technically it's a more expensive car, and very unique. However, personally I like the aspects of a 4 door car and the M5 in my vision is more of a family sports car. The M6 is just a sports car. But like I said, the 6 is more valuable!

Q: Which car is the best?
If you had to choose which car to buy, what would you choose? 2006 BMW M5 2008 Lexus IS-F 2006 CLS55 AMG All these cars are nice but it is hard to just pick out one of them. Also, can you explain why the car that you chose is better than the others? I don't want to hear anything about whether I have the money to buy these cars or other stuff such as insurance and etc. Just answer the question please. Thanks

A: If I had the choice I'd pick the M5 because of its brilliant 500hp V10, but the CLS55 is the better pick of these three. Sexier looks on the outside, more tech and extras, and the 5.5L V8 not only sounds the shiz, but it makes this a pretty good hauler for a luxury car. Plus it's an AMG, AMG has more pedigree than M-Sport or Lexus; all of their cars excel in all areas of performance and class which I'm sure is what you're looking for in your next car.

Q: Stop by a car title loan place?
Just this morning I stop by a car title loan place to find out info. Well as I went inside i was quickly greeted by a barefoot female worker ask may I help you I said yes I'm thinking of asking for a loan and she quickly ask for my car keys to start it and test drive it around the block what got me upset first that she was barefoot why couldn't she put on her shoes, she rushed right on over to me,second I hadn't even sign papers for a loan and last did she have a right to take and drive my car barefoot makes me think twice about a place where people rush to you. Last my car is a 2006 BMW M5 any suggestions for me.

A: What you should think twice about is taking out a title loan on your car. Places like this charge incredibly high interest rates. Try taking out a personal loan at a bank. Even opening a credit card would beat taking out a title loan. As far as they test driving thing is concerned, you essentially gave permission by giving her the keys to your car. If you didn't want her to drive your car, you didn't have to hand over the keys. That's on you.

Q: Whats your favorite cars?
Mine are these and here's there approximate or exact top speed 2001 BMW M5 155MPH 2006 Ferrari F430 190-203MPH or the 2006 Ferrari F430 Spider 185-195MPH either one but the Spider is Slightly slower. 2005 Mercedes SL65 AMG 195-210MPH 2006 Bugatti Veyron 252MPH 2006 BMW M6 160-180MPH What are your favorite cars and what are the top speed's for them.

A: my favorite is the 1986 Mustang SVO, for under $5k you can get a car that will go 150 mph! I've had 4 of them, my kids keep taking them :(

Q: How much would a person pay for car insurance?
Let's say I buy a BMW M5 made from the year 2006, how much would I pay for the insurance? Also, let's say it's a new car, too... If you just buy a brand new car, how much do you pay every month? (I'm doing a research... so, please help me) If different companies have different standards, then can you just tell me what you drive (the year it was made) and how much do you pay the insurance... I'm just doing a little research, and I'm not buying car... yet.

A: That's hard to know because all insurance companies have different standards, call your local insurance companies and they can give you a free quota or whatever you call em.

Q: What was the best car of 2006?
What car made you go WOW? Was it the new style Civic? Or the BMW M5/M6? Please write your favorites

A: toyota prius and the smart car both great on fuel

Q: Old but still good: What would you choose Subaru STI or Mitsubishi EVO?
I'd like to hear back from you all on the 2 cars. Seems like for 2006 the STI beat the EVO. I drive an 06 Scooby STI now. No mods! It's a real race car which belongs on the track. Before that i owned Vipers, Corvettes(Z06's included), Benzes(c55 AMG included), BMW's(M5 included), Cadillacs(CTS-V included), Acura NSX's, IROC-Z's, Mustangs, etc, etc, about 30-40 good performance cars in all, with more than 300hp each. Scooby is not as much fun as the rear-wheel drive cars with over 300hp, but it's definitely the best handling car I've had. Likely better than Lamborghini's and Ferrari's(never had them but driven plenty). I'd like to hear back from the serious driving enthusiasts and fans alike - which car do you think is better - EVO or STI, new models. Please check out MotorTrend test of the '06 models before you say which is quicker: http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/sedan/112_0512_rally_cars/ YES, I did measure 4.5 0-60 times in my Scooby on stock tires, on the street. Thank you!

A: Subaru's always have been the race car since the mid-70's when they first came out with their line of AWD vehicles. You don't see the EVO as much as you do on a rally course. Why? Because they lack sufficient power in the tranny as well as the tranfer case and suspension. And also the 4G63T motor always has a tendancy to break ALWAYS. The Subaru's tranny and transaxle configuration give the Subaru the edge in turning at high speed and corner like butter. I prefer Subaru than any other AWD vehicle out there. I also would take a Subaru over any turbocharged car out there. The only thing I dislike on the '06 Subarus are the front grill. It is very air restrictive. But anyways, if you are looking for a good rally car or to drive on wicked roads, Subaru is the way to go.
