HAPPY HOLIDAYS Happy Christmahanukkahwanzafestivus.
A: nope- just the nav goodies
Q: What is a better used car '06 BMW M5 or '07 Audi RS4?
The prices are about the same right now and there are quite a few of both supercars offered for sale. I love the beastly 507hp M5 Ferrari killer; but the 420hp RS4 is no dog - lighter and Quattro awd is nice for winter in Long Island. I'm torn.
A: Great problem to have. I love the 06 M5, the wheels on it alone make me drool. Audi is also great. it all comes down to whether you want that snob value or that understated power? I would go with the snob value of the m5.
Q: Nowadays with the Cadillac CTS-V being soo good, why would anybody buy a BMW M5?
cheaper, roomier, handles better, better 0-60 time, and faar less complicated. better gas mileage too.
i'd like a european opinion too because i know theyre all snobs and usually wont buy anything but a euro car even though they might not be as good. so, euros, why?
A: ~CTS-V vs M5
~I totally agree with you on the what the other answer-ers have commented on the CTS-V. To ensure the outmost performance from the redesigned V8 engine. Cadillac tuned the suspension and engine on the tracks of the Nurburgring. With a whole new look, and strategically priced, it really is a new kid on the block. First of all, in terms of the gas mileage, any sport- oriented track car will not get good mileage, in a way, gas mpg shouldn’t be a factor to be looked at when we talk about a V8, V10, V12, and let alone, a W16 engine configuration. Secondly, in terms of a roomier cabin…I find the CTS’s cabin ok, but mind you, the Americans have always been all over comfort and great space, so it is expected for a plush, yet sporty interior. Thirdly, not contradicting what you have said, but the performance is a bit wild and crazy actually. On the tracks, the CTS-V rounds the corners like never seen before from American sport cars, and has immense acceleration, but the power just seemed to jump out at you at the wrong times.
~Also, to answer your question about Europeans, choosing euro cars over American bad-boys…The Europeans <
Q: Can the new BMW M5 with manual transmission peel out during launch?
Since DSC can't be disengaged in the M5, does that mean that if I rev the engine up to about 4000, press the clutch, put the car in gear 1 and then pop the clutch... the dsc will auto matically cut down the rev and I won't have any control over the gas pedal? Is this a correct?
dancingd,
btw I happen to be an Asian who use to own a "rice rocket." I'm 31 now and I own a 02 ML320, 07 SLK200, and 07 GL450 and soon to own a M5, however I don't think your racist remark really helps out anyone... it just makes me want to "bust a cap in your a$$." Is that how we Asians say it? Jack@$$.
A: If the new M5 is like the previous one, DSC will prevent wheelspin. Not just by brakes but also with throttle.
Throttle control is not a direct cable from the pedal in the M5. It's drive-by-wire, meaning no amount of throttle control gets by the computer unless it likes it.
In the E39 M5 (predecessor to the current M5), a "Sport Mode" button allowed for quicker throttle response. Also, "DSC" could be turned off. This combination provides for "hot rod" launches.
In the E60 with iDrive, the "M" button could be configured to your desired throttle resonse, and without it, the car only gives up 400 of the available 500hp.
There's a rumor that DSC off upgrade will be out in May.
Q: Is it worth buying a BMW M5 or is any 5 series just as good?
A: Make no mistake - BMW's M cars are superb machines, however, there is nowhere in this country where one can (legally) drive an M5 to its full potential. Maintenance costs after the warranty has expired can be stratospheric. I traded my E39 M5 for an 2007 E60 M5 for this very reason. My wife's 2008 535i with twin turbos has more than enough power for US driving.
Q: How much will a 2001 BMW M5 cost in two years??
A: around 19k-22k [USD]..
depending on the miles
Q: what is the difference between a m5 bmw and a 5 series sport please?
A: there is the price diffrance and power and alot more.
but if were to by one youd be better of with the sport.
cuz everyday the petrol prices are going up and the insurance for a m5 is alot lot more then the sport models most important of all youl never get to experiance the speed and the power from the m5 without geting band from driving in the UK
Q: What car should I buy out of a Audi Q7, BMW M5 or a Porsche 911?
A: hi,
it depends what you need them for...
if its just flashing it about then its the porsche 911 but if its a fast and sleek family car then it has to be the bmw m5 but if its a 4x4 with 7 seats and looks like an estate car on big wheels then its the audi q7 although you can get it in 5 seats model i personally hate then audi q7.
to me it would be the porsche as it would have a little bit better resale than the bmw m5 ( lol i forgot to ask but would they be brand-new)
however my final descison PERSONALLY would be the BMW M5 it looks very modern and sexy where as to me the porsche looks like an older age grouped sports car!!
hope 'i helped....:D
Q: Are there any racing games out there for PCs that feature the BMW M5?

A: hey therz a game of NFS mostwanted u knw dat in vich u own a BMW M5.........its runs lik hell man jst chek it out.

156000 miles good int & ext runs good looks good I cant seem to get a value on it ?????

A: I would think anywhere between 17-20k
Q: How much will a 2001 BMW M5 cost in 2 years?
A: Around $25,000.
It also depends on the mileage that will be on the vehicle at the time and the condition of the engine and body of the vehicle.
Q: How many BMW M5 E39 (RHD) are there in the world?
A: 2,595 right-hand-drive (RHD) E39 M5s were produced between 10/98 and 6/03
BTW, the E39 M5 is the best sleeper ever!
